Oh man, My car has been spitting gas for the last 2 days. I have driven only 60~80 KM and it has cost me 1/4 tank of gas. Frack!
I had to run the car to find out it was coming out of the 6th injector. Runing like water I say. I am just glad I did not blow up the car...well insurance would have covered the....Damn inside voice only.
So it looks to me that I have a long night tonight. It is one of the girls birthdays so we are going to white ave for a bit, then I get to take everything appart & try to fix this.
Anyone know why this happens? Is it just a seal I can replace? I cant see if it is the top or bottom one but by the look of it I think it is the one from the fuel rail.
Post up if you have ideas that might help & i'll check in when I get home.
Thanks.

Hey Earl,
One of your injectors may not be seated properly. Check to see if the injectors are seated. Also check the little o-rings that seal the injectors to the head. It is possable that one of the rings is pooched or was not lined up, or moved out alignment during the injector install.
It is also possable that the fuel rail was not tightened enough and the injectors rattled loose. Glad to hear there was no fire.

Hi Earl,
No worries. I sem torecall that you can service the injectors and remove them with out actually having to remove the intake, and the fuel rail. I think you can loosen the fuel rail enough to realign and pull the injectors our with out having to rip it all appart. I recall doing that when I hada small fuel problem just after replacing my headgasket.

OK, this thing ight as well be just pushing the cgas out onto the floor of my garage. Glenn I think I will need some seals. I don't have any and I am too busy to run without a car tomorrow. Call mt cell if you still have time. I'll be in the garage taking appart my car again.

EDIT: hahaha I am such a spaz now that I have quit smoking. Here I am all pissed about not having a car for tomorrow and then my wife says "drive the other one".
**and the skys parted and the voice of god said, "yeah, what she said"**
So screw it I will not be in my garage all night and I may bring the other one for dyno tomorrow.
Glen I will still want the seals for when I do fix this issue. May be Tomorrow night or Sat AM.

Well Glenn the Supra Slut came by and took my fuel rail off. It turns out that the lower seal for the injector was too big. why it lasted as long as it did who knows. Now i need to find one tomorrow.
Thanks for the help

Ok, Late update:
I put it all back together & found ut still leaked like a sprinkler. I tear it all appart again & find out the O ring is split....humm ODD!
I get the rest of the rings for the injector & put it all together and it works.
Good news: Sun Toyota has 7 more lower insulators and I have no idea how many upper seals & rings
Bad News: My antilock light is always on. I have not had a chance to test it but it comes on as soon as I hit the brakes & stays on till I turn off the car. I have not had a chance to test to see if the ABS still works yet.
