Finally got my dyno results from the n-e-c-c dyno day last month. I'm having trouble with the Winpep reader program from the Dynojet site. When installing it I get an error reading a file "data7.config", the result is I only show the hp graph, no torque or air/fuel. Anyway, thanks to Aaron, n-e-c-c president, who copied this jpeg and sent it to me.

Nice, very smooth. did you only go to 5800 or so or does the viewer not show that properly, i know the program i have for viewing doesn't show rpm accurately, screws it up somewhere.

I told them to go to 5500. Raymond from Silverstone told me not to take it over 5000. It's a long stroke motor with heavy crank and rods, which is both a strength and a weakness. If you build 'em to make power within their limits they can move though!
This is exactly why I'm working to get a taller gearset than the 4.10's that are in it now. With the low redline I do a lot of shifting around town, the 3.727 gears will suit the car much better.

The car weighs somewhere around 2700 lb, so with the torque the engine makes, it moves pretty effortlessly. I hope to make the street-legals in July, there is a break in my soccer schedule for the World Masters Games. I'm eager to see what it does, should break into the 15's hopefully, if I can drive it well enough.

We go as a group? Maybe we can make a good club showing? Get more cars on the track? Who else would run their car?
That torque number is in MKiii area...you would pound us in the 0-60 times.
:?
I need more boost....

Hi Earl,
I am in. I want to see what my baby can do. I had planned to go last year but never made it. This year I am in for sure.

That would be very cool! I have booked July 22 to the 31 off as our soccer team is playing in the masters games, should be free one of those Fridays. I'll know for sure when our schedule comes out the first week of July.
Going as a group would allow stripping spare tires and tool boxes etc. before a run and being able to lock them up. We could also set up some grudge matches (not that we have any!). Hopefully the guys with the new buildups will be ready to run as well.

Hah nice going on the numbers Bob. I’m in for the track meet with everyone, hah and also when me and bob went head to head from a roll he took be quit a bit hah. 2-3 car lengths and was still losing me! But were comparing a 2900lbs car to a 2700lbs car, and that you have a turbo and I don’t, and that your putting down 165 wheel hp and 237 wheel torque and I’m only doing maybe 130 wheel hp and 170 wheel torque, ahh but any ways, I got what I deserved ahh. Good time, good time.
I guess well see what numbers I'll get this Friday at the dyno day meet, yay.
