Here's some background.
I was already planning an invitation only trip to the mountains to drive in a very very slow and legal manner. Disclaimer: If you die or get arrested or explode your motor or hit a moose or beaver, myself or DK or any DK member is not responsible

Ok well now that I'm past the Legal portion...I say Friday Aug 18 Evening Meet in Lethbridge . That should give Calgary and Edmonton guys a chance to make it down here, and meet up with everyone before heading west. We might move this to Thurs night and travel on Friday to take in a Vancouver auto-x and BBQ on Saturday. I think most of us can get Friday off work to enjoy some cheap lapping sessions and a burger on the coast.

After a drive to the coast the Ultra meet begins in Vancouver. A meeting at a qualified restaurant has been suggested. From there we can head down to Seattle Sunday, August 20 for the show (Formula D sanctioned drift competition) as a old school reppin' costume wearin' American confusin' group.

Please PM me to add your name to the list, only those who do so will be added. I hope to make this a ridiculously good time. Please include your board name, real first name, and car that you will be tentatively bringing and the year/mods/etc., and your email so i can add you to a contact list. Also let me know where you're from so we know how many will be joining for each leg of the trip.

Since some people didn't seem to like the previos message (i just say things bluntly and am otherwise seldom serious, don't take what i say seriously) and the fact that i misread your post i am editing this.

I still won't attend, cuz i want to take one long vacation around suprafest and go to the states then to see some people and places. I won't take multiple trips this summer to go to the same places, you know what i mean, lol, kinda expensive that way.

But ya, i really love the mountains and like to take any chance i can to go through them too.

I agree there should be an acceptable spot that others can hook up to the crowd if wanted. I have not looked at the site yet so I cannot say if they have provided that information yet. But it would not seen unreasonable.

Gas mileage is fine if you don't boost :)
