So recently people have been looking for large parts for the MK3's.

I figure if you come accross an add for a beat MK3 post it up here. I figure if all the guys who need bits chip together for the right car you all save. We just missed a 87 turbo with 5 speed for 1700 in calgary yesterday.

That would have got Marc his tranny, Tim his buddies body, and motor for others.

Lets see if this will work out for people.

First one:
Here is one I found in the bargain finder:
87 Toyota Supra, non turbo, standard 226,000km, leather, good clutch, fully loaded, $1400 obo
Tel: 403-285-8592

Might be the same one as I saw on beyond.ca....if it is it's sold already but you never know?

Edit:
I called and it is still for sale. It is maroon and can be driven back to town if needed.

Darryl is the guys name but he says he has two guys looking at it today.

Dark blue '87 or '88 targa turbo. $1500. Knocking motor, 141 kms. autobox. minimal rust, blue cloth interior.

It's sitting in the lot of a repair shop down my street, the garage owns it.

Just a heads up. 8)

Very nice thanks Foster!

With the knock I think $1,000 would be the top end. That is a lot of rust. :ugh:

Yeah, I had to rub the dust off for the pictures to see it. Definately not worth 1500.

I'd give them $2 and a piece of gum.

Not worth what they want.

No doubt!

I think that technical term for this is "low-balling", and it is definitely a supra term 8)
