is there anywhere in the city or is it possible to fix curb rash on aftermarket rims? i have nasty scratches on my rims i want to get rid of it

Yes there is. If you do a search on 780tuners.com you will find a couple of places listed. Also I am told that our MKiv owner Jim has a client that does that sort of work.

wow thats awesome.. so they are able to fix nasty deep scratches?

scratches and nicks are nothing, a friend of mine got a rim fixed were the entire bead section of the rim was "torn" from the rest of the rim, leaving a 1/4 inch gap. they said they could fix it easily for at the time $150, this was about 4 years ago though.

big bad damage is repairable, but they arent as strong afterwards... aluminum doesnt weld worth a shit.
most scratches are fixable.... some can be polished out, but generally they have to weld in some material to polish away.

its a deep scratch.. not very noticeable from far away but u can see it if u focus on it
