Product: Inland Plastics Single Portable Garage
Place Purchased: Costco
Price Paid: $400
Application: One Car
Highlights: Very durable tarp, pretty sturdy wooden frame, fits my supra with a few feet to spare, seems to handle wind pretty good, and is built to support snow. ALL SEASON!, cheapest portable garage I could find
Caveats: The front and back of it use a weaker tarp, instructions are ridculously vague, one of those things where you build it and then look at the picture in the instructions and wish yours looked like that, but I'm getting ahead of myself.
Installation Time: I don't know, uh, 12+ hours (I'm incoompetent with carpentry, but my dad helped me build it, and he did build our house...), the only plus is you don't have to cut anything
Installation Difficulty (1-10, 10 being difficult): 8; To build this you better know how to build a house, and better not need instructions for anything. You need to build your own turnbuckles for the love of God!!!
Rating (1-10, 10 being best): 6.5; It really isn't a horrible product, but you get what you pay for (maybe a bit less). Better instructions and better quality materials would have made this a better product, but I love the grey tarp, it's really thick.
Additional Comments: It's good if you need a portable garage on a budget, but if you can afford a couple hundred more dollars, skip past it. Here's a link to the product: http://www.inlandplastics.com/single.html
I'll be getting pics soon.
