Hey all, my name's Stuart (also Stu, Stewie, and a whole other assortment of names...). I recently purchased a 1987 MKIII project car and lo and behold it had Alberta Supra Club stickers on the windows. Well couldn't go driving a car with those stickers and not join up! I'm not huge on pictures but I'll put up a couple, one is the only major modification, the engine... which was actually done before I purchased the car. It's got a 1JZGTE now instead of the 7MGTE. Good swap for the most part except the electrical, most of the splices are cold solders and so during the cold snaps we've had here lately they've come apart. For the most part the body's in good shape, some rust around the back fenders and some bad paintwork on the doors as well as missing molding. All in all a good project. Any advice you have for me on...well... anything related to the car really is most welcome. Sorry about the quality of the pics, phone camera could be better... :P

Looks like that started off with a 7M-GE in it, not he 7M-GTE (Though it's more than possible that someone just removed he sooiler) Does the dash have a boost gauge, or a voltmeter in it? (Or is the boost gauge factory? I'd imagine not with a 1JZ-GTE anyway.)

Someone around here should recognise the car, given the stickers. :p

pretty sure the spoiler's been removed or the trunk replaced with one of a NA...the VIN and factory sticker both put it as a GTE. Doesn't matter anymore though, and yeah the dash has factory boost gauge (not in use though).

Haha it's on the engine again, it was part of a big box of parts that came with the car, the swap was complete but it's like the guy before me wanted to do more with it but ran out of time/money. So there is a lot of stuff that's half done... like I said, a good project!
