Ticking?

Hey i drive a 86 Mark II and for some reason when i start her up in the morning i hear a ticking noise. I assume she needs to warm up and such so i let it sit for a good 10-15 mins but when i go to work the ticking doesnt stop. I've noticed this since summer (when i bought her) i have no clue whats doing this can anyone think of a reason this is happening?

start the car, then turn it off once the oil pressure climbs up, then restart it. sometimes thats all that you need to do. try to run some engine cleaner or something through it, some people also put in a bit of diesel oil since its got a lot more solvents in it, or they put in a little atf in the oil. Probably sticky lifters since these cars have hydralic lifters.

Wow thats going to be a pain turn off turn on gah.. but i'll run some engine cleaner through it

Might as run ATF through it, that's essentially what engine cleaner is. Trust me. I used to work in the business.
