How is all up for going for a coffee tonight sunday 23 Oct?
I am!!! I figure around 7:30-8:00 pm .
Depending on who is interested we can decide on a location a little later.

Marc drives a red MKIII and Dave drives a red MKII. If that's what you saw, it was probably them.
I think I saw Glenn or Barry driving around near the university campus the other day though... :dunno:
Cheers,
Tim

bahaha yeah mine was the "multicoloured one, I had just finished primering my rear quarter, so it looks pretty rough right now. Glenn was the one with a 2.5" downpipe as his exhaust  sounds great when he's on boost
but yeah that was us, we were turning into the tim hortons by the IGA, too bad we didn't know it was you or you could have joined us at our last minute planned mini meet..

i really wish i had my mk3 when i saw u guys

well Glenn has lots.. I have little :) Glenn's got a turboed 5M, and he's done suspension (springs, struts/shocks, sway bars) and a lot more which he can list.
I've got a stock 5M with a hacked together intake, that spews oil onto the exhaust manifold, which is why smoke billows from my hood if you noticed , all stock besides that, all my modding is happening this coming spring (turboing 6M, doing full suspension etc.)

eh I know the feeling, my mkIII was in the shop for over 5 weeks having the engine rebuilt last fall, the wait was just killing me.

wat happened to it?
CanuckDave
10-23-2005, 10:18 PM
oh well I bought it last november, a week after it blew the headgasket, I didn't have the tools, garage space or know how to rebuild it myself, plus the head was warped, so I got a full rebuild done (in retrospect wish I hadn't, should have parked it for the winter and swapped a 7m-gte in..)
then it got written off when I got rear ended by a neon when I was stopped at a pedestrian crosswalk on my way to one of the first supraclub meets.

I think online (supraforums or supramania) there is a guy parting out a grey 89T. I bet you could get one from him.
Cheers,
Tim

my car still has its dual tip muffler on(what do you mean i have no muffler officer :) ). And dave, the stock mk3 downpipe is not 3" lol. I drive around the university and whyte fairly often, regular cruising spot cuz theres almost always something to look at, if you know what i mean.
Dave listed most of my big mods. Mines easy to recognize, black 16" rims with polished lips, no flares right now, drivers door is really rusty(but not the rest of that side, its weird).

oops, my bad, wasn't thinking. edited
the rust on your car is wierd, its only that one door, and only the back flares.

you wouldnt happen to have a grey glove box *crosses fingers* The funny thing is...I think I do. You can look at it when you come to look at the winters....but I guess if you car is down you wont need them for a bit.
I hope you don't mind me asking but ...how much are you paying for the rebuild and I guess where is it being done?

Naw I dont mind you asking. I got it done at Toytech and everything done it costed me $3700 or so. It was pretty pricey but i really had no other choice. I think almost every part in my engine bay that could have broken has been replaced over summer. When they said supras hit you in the wallet...they weren't joking.
