My loss is your gain!
I am going to be buying my car back from insurance in order to recoup some of the loss
Next week is reading week and I hope to have the car in the garage. It will be open for anyone and everyone to pull parts off of it.

I will be keeping:
-The motor with turbo
-Transmission and drive shaft
-Wiring harness and ecu

I would appreciate any help I can get in removing these, they will be for sale after

Anything else is up for grabs, I would keep more but do not have room for this stuff as it is.
It is up to you to come and take the parts, bring your own tools.

About the car:
87' Supra hardtop turbo with 224000km
Exterior: BMW Alpine White
Interior: Maroon cloth
Hit in the front- fenders, bumper, lights and hood are no good
It has, stock white, 89+ mouldings and tail light with the matching wing in the garage
There are boxes of parts in the garage
and a blown 7m that is mostly pulled apart (I got bored and it was just sitting there...)

If you feel like helping this starving student out then pay whatever you feel is fair.
Otherwise everything is FREE!!

Everything must go; at the end of the week if no one wants what is left it is going to the crusher!

So, as long as I get the car back from insurance this is a go

later
Franco R.

I will be coming to grab the interior panels from the hatch provided they are in good condition. are you in need of any engine parts? If you need anything, let me know and I can bring them along. Where are you located?

Edit, I'd also like to grab the stock shifter if it is available. (whoa, that sounded weird)

also, what is your favorite beer?

heh, I don't know when I will NOT be working. However with the weather being +5 today in Fort St. John BC, I can't imagine spring break up being too far off. We will have to make arrangements sometime. When I am home its not big deal to come your way.

Well, productive day. Good thing someone came by who actually remembers what stuff needs to be disconnected when pulling the motor/transmission!

I'll upload pics once I get a chance to get 'em off of my phone.

Do you have any pics of what is remaining on the car? Drivers side mirror by any chance?

Dan_Gyoba

I have maroon coloured '87 mirrors, if you need one.

AbsoluteSpeed
02-27-2010, 05:52 PM
The car went to the crusher last night. (fyi- a supra without motor and trans=1200lbs)
I was hoping to get a few more things off it, including the mirrors but didnt.

I ran out of time and the car needed to be gone.
I will be posting up what is left for sale as soon as I get a chance!!

its the air in the tires that puts it over the top! :)

Dan_Gyoba

Motor + transmission + full fluids = 2400 lbs... There's more weight than you might think in fluids.
