I got this car just before the big dump of snow on trade plus cash for my old rhd crx. Its a '90 2.5 Twin Turbo R, but with the Auto trans, which is odd.

she has:
Mine's ecu, HKS super dragger exh, Apex'i intake and that's pretty much it lol
I dropped the tank in my driveway to pull the pump(i got pics in there as well of that) and it wasnt as hard as everyone on supraforums made it sound.

Pulling the tank is dead easy. Supraforums don't know a Supra from their ass.
And welcome BTW.

Big peak HP numbers don't always translate into a fast car.

I guess we will see. Most 2jz guys dont see full boost on that thing until 5000-5500. Either way it should be a fun track car. What are your hp goals?
hlvw wrecker

a modest low-600's for this year.

Just my opinion that turbo cars that are laggy as shit are fucking awful to drive around. And needing to rev the shit out of them to make good power is hard on the motor.

thats why i am sticking with auto :)
You mean blowing up the auto? :P
(I have no idea how much power they can hold)

the stock auto's are about 400whp, once it goes i got a 4l60e in the garage ready to go in.

I think that the discussions about this car being a street car should be limited at this point. Judging by those tires, you definitely have a purpose in mind.

I like the balloon tires, I mean slicks. Should give you a great 60ft time.

I have some 255 drags on sawblades. They're pretty ballooned..... :)

ya im quite pleased with the "fitment" she has now, IMO stretched tires are over-played, tall sidewalls is where its at
annoyingrob

The only people who think stretched tires are cool drive 240s and golfs.

HEY! Funny thing is that the tires on Tara's celica (the summers) are waaay streched - 215s on an 8 inch wide rim. They are going to be replaced.
Yeah. The previous owner curbed the rims a bunch as a result... in only a few short months of driving. How depressing. Stretched tires are bad mojo. I like the look of a good amount of meat on a rim.
Anyone looking for some cheap-as-borsh 215 45 R17s?? :P

What brand and model of tire, Tara? I could use those for my 17" wheels.

plz excuse the crap-tastic front bumper, she might be gettin paint this year, but here she is installed.
I did have to screw it into the sides of the bumper skin, and use a zip disc to trim all the plastic to get it to fit properly, aswell as trim the "driver" side of the small udct to clear the tow hook(as pictured)
