Hey everyone!
I've been thinking about setting up a GB for a BC for some time now, but now I'm going to plunge in and do it!
I know that this is something that quite a few of us are going to need over the next little bit as we have a lot of cars having turbos thrown on them.
I am interested in running a group buy for the AVC-R, but I am open to other options if there is a demand for them (Grddy profec b is pretty nice too).
This is an interest thread. Once interest has been confirmed, I will go to a company and negotiate the best possible price that I can. Then I will bring it back and people can actually start signing up.
Just post if you're interested!
Cheers,
Tim
Edit: If we can get over 10 ppl for this, it can easily happen with a great price. If I have to I'll try and recruit ppl from 780.

Any idea on the cost?

To be honest, I really don't have a cost off of the top of my head. Think in the $500 rsange, but most likely less. AVCRs are expensive!
Perhaps Mike will be able to chime in with how much his was. If I get a chance I'll try to e-mail him.
Hope that helps somewhat!
Cheers,
Tim

Hi Guys,
Mine was $485.00 USD from Supra Sport. I am a moderator on their online forum. I can talk with Jack and Charles, whom are the owners and see what they may be able to offer us for discounted pricing. The AVC-R is a nice controller. I highly reccomend it.
Rick from Aero Car parts may be able to bring the controller in.

That would be handy if they could bring it in for us Mike!
Do you think they would mind if ppl outside of our club were in on the buy (for example if I need to go to 780 to get #s up)?

Hi Tim,
I am essentially the SupraSport poster boy. LOL. I do not think they would mind. I would need to clarify with them first. After all a sale is a sale right?
They will be tied up in the SILV05 for a few days. I will not be able to get in contact with them untill they return.

No problems, this will take some time to get ppl on board anyhow.
Thanks for putting the effort in to help make this work though.
Cheers,
Tim

I've been told by a good friend that works at autodream that Apexi is going out of business for good and that there products will be dirtchheap soon. I'm crossing my fingers that way i can go pick up a Neo and AVC-R
p.s. I was told the reason they were going out of business is because they purchased a large home securities company in japan and it flopped big time.

Is anything happening with this buy? I'm in if it's a go.
Guess not. Too late now anyhow.
