Hey, I have been a fan of the mk3 supra for a long time. And now u can import the 1jz models!!
Anyways, Ive come to ask why I dont see many supra owners at events such as the v8less in calgary and edmonton.

More specifically the autox. I know the mk3 isnt ideal at all weighing in at 3600 lbs aprox. but I just wondered if anyone had any past experiences. The course at calgary v8less this year was quite a high speed one rather, I think the mk3 supra would of held its own!
thanks

dave tried auto Xing in his mk3 NA, then he rode in my modified mk2 and decided to go that way, 700-800 lbs less makes a huge difference in handling.

But ya, lots of cars were broken, even my reliable little mk2 decided to develop pita at just the right time to stop me from going, that or i was working on it slowly like i ussually do and wasn't done in time.

Hey Demolisher!

"Trowa" is probably the most knowledgeable about auto-xing the MKIII, I know he hangs out with the RX-7 guys all the time, and bought his coilover setup expressly for that purpose. Unfortunately his job is keeping him pretty busy right now, but if you PM or e-mail him (I'd recommend both to make sure), I'm sure he'd be happy to share his experiences.

Hope that helps!

Cheers,

Tim
