Don't trust the search %100. I needed a few things and search show's 1 86 cressida (there's 2) 1 91 mazda mpv for my BBK (there's 3) and 1 86 mk II supra (there's also a 85)
So it's still best to check if you can find the time

interesting point. I have been using the online search for a few months and have found it 100% accurate.

Maybe they were moving inventory after you checked.

You could also call them. They know where the inventory is in the yard as it is tagged and set in a row number.

I'm not sure what the reason is. I checked online monday or tuesday and found there was a 91 cressida. The next day it didn't show up in the system, but it was at the yard when I went today. It's better that nothing though.:)

That's strange man. Maybe a system glitch?

Good point though. It is good to draw from others experiences. :D

I was there today for parts for the Previa. Systems says there's one, I found 2 (Neither had the part I wanted. I'm not too fond of the "admission fee")

Yeah, they charge $1 to walk the yard down in Calgary. I'm assuming it's the same price up in Edmonton.

Yeap it's a buck and I have used debit to pay for it. Helps cover the small crap people put their pockets or bags. I swear I have never done that.

It's true that $1 is trivial, but it's irritating, particularly when you go there to get a particular part... and they don't have it.

Just let them know you did not find what you were looking for and they will give you a voucher for a free admission next time. :D

Good to know GOT BOOST. I am guilty of throwing small shit in my pocket. I feel that if I have to pay a $1 everytime I go then I should get something for it. A lot of people I know feel the same way.

No worries.

I used to be a pick and pull hater when they started charging $1.00 for admission. Now that they have the website and inventory search the $1.00 is justifiable.

I was thrilled when I discovered that they would give you a free admission for next time if you did not find what you were looking for. :D

Just to update.

Pick and pull does not allow you to bring in your own jacks.

I tried today. :D

Well I'm sure you could just jack off another car there.

That is what I thought too...

I searched 2 whole rows of vehicles looking for jacks. I could not find one jack. I think they remove them.

That they do. Notice the big pile for sale at the entrance.

I'm pretty pissed at pnp right now. I just got back from searching for an ac compressor solution for my 7m celica swap. I want to keep ac but there's no room for the stock turbo compressor. I found an ac pulley that uses the same bearing and appears to use the same clutch as the 7mgte but is inside the pulley, so I'd be able to use it in the factory location.

Here's how much room I'm working with
http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r95/tiggg321/IMG_0078.jpg

Well at the till some douche (manager?) says he's gonna charge me for a whole compressor since he can't sell it now, cause I pulled the pulley off.

I found it in a pile on the F'n ground, pulled by one his workers. Like it was ever going to be sold as a complete unit, they wouldn't even know what vehicle it was from. Neither do I btw, I'll have to search all over again.
What a fucking dick, charging $43 for a pulley! At least just charge me for the ac clutch thats in your fucking system, honestly that's what I was expecting.
I won't feel the least bit guilty if I "forget" to pay for something, that fell down my pants lol.
Sorry for the rant, but I feel better;)

A couple cars of interest at picknpull Edmonton. 79 celica supra, f313 rear axle complete. Bolt in for 3rd gen Celica, gain rear disk+7.5" lsd, 280 ish on the odo.
infiniti q45 v8 throttle body the gay one with built in traction control, also infiniti j30. If you've got a 82-85 celica or supra, infinty calipers+94 4wd MVP front disks drilled to 4 lug= cheap BBK, should fit Cressida's also but may need celica/supra hubs.
