cat back exhaust system [Archive]

I need a cat-back system for my 87 Turbo.

JB's sells the Pacesetter Monza cat back for $240...has anyone experieced this system? let me know what you thought of its sound.

If you have another make of cat back system let me know what you think of it.

i have heard that pacesetters stuff rusts quickly.

mike has an hks dragger, sounds nice.

Earl has an unknown 3" exhaust that i really like the sound of, but its a little loud.

hopefully they will jump in, but i don't see you finding anything better for cheaper that that pacesetter system.

I am looking for a quiter system, I do a fair bit of highway driving and would like to keep noise levels down.

what size is the pacesetter?

resonator?

muffler, how big, how many chambers?

lots of variables.

Glenn is right. I do have the HKS Dragger. I have the Supra Sport Turbo Elbow, Random Technology Down Pipe mated to the HKS Dragger. The system is very quite around town and on the highway. If I ever get my car running for more than 5 min I will take you for a rip and you can be the judge. :D
