Hey guys thanks for all your help and info so far, I have decided to go with a jdm engine from www.renewedimport.com. They are located in calgary and if anyone has heard any good things about them by all means let me know. I plan on buying one and simply putting in a metal head gasket / arp bolts.

i would say to at least have an inspection done at a shop. JDM motors tend to be hard driven, the MHG and ARP's are a very good idea. Hopefully you get a good one that doesn't need anything, however it may need a rebuild too.

Hi nick, i was going to deal with renewed import but when i e-mailed them i got back this half assed replay on "out of stock" thats it, none of questions were answered, nothing, so it kinda turned me off of them if you know wut i mean, they didn't really help me out much, i was looking to spend serious money and they weren't very helpful in answering questions ... but maybe you'll have better luck

good luck

Corey. :D

Silverstones kind of expensive.

Renewed is a good place, fairly reputable.
