My New Car

Well everyone,

After a near 2 month dry spell of borrowing cars and hitch hiking I finally picked up my car this evening.

It is a 1997 Toyota Avalon XLS

207,200 kms
3.0L V6

Champaigne Exterior, Tan leather interior.

My first few mods will include Sylvania Silverstar bulbs and to test fit the MA70 Supra Strut Tower bar. From there I will upgrade the intake to the Camry Injen WAI, or potentially to the Camry Injen CAI.

A supercharger is lined up, however TRD has discontinued the 3.0L Supercharger for now. Locating this supercharger may be a little difficult.

Now I have my own daily driver again!

As for the insurance deal, I am still waiting for the cheque for my car. This is becoming quite tiresome.

can't wait to see it mike, hopefully you can find a supergharger sitting somewhere. my suggestion would be to call a couple people in town, like Joe at kingsway, it may not be discontinued just yet. I have heard many things about how toyota lists and stores things and some people beleive it or not are just to lazy to actually look for it. < i heard this from a parts guy i know at lexus, he told me that half the stuff i believed to be class F for the mk2 is actually still available from the states.

yup, a supercharger and some nitrous, block long burnouts while destroying mustangs with Earl, Dave, and myself in the car for traction, lol.
