Hey guys im new to the forum,I was referred here by the guy I bought my Supra off of, his screen name is boostedb18. anyways I could really use some help fixing a few minor things on my supra, here's what I need to fix. its an 88 7MGTE

-fuel gauge wire needs to be hooked up at the sensor
-coolant temp sensor needs to be hooked up and possibly replaced
-power steering pump pressure hose is leaking and needs to be replaced
-and I have a boost leak im not sure where its coming from but possibly a lower ic pipe, i need to get my hands on a smoker to test it.

thats basiclly it for now, i dont know much about my new car mechanically and im trying to learn as much as i can off the internet but i could really use some help from someone who knows what they are doing

I don't mind buying some beer or paying a guy to come and help me, I just really wanna get my Supra running nicely :D

thanks in advance :D

edit: im in millwoods in edmonton btw :P

power steering pressure hose, pretty sure i don't need that so you might be able to take the one from my 88 turbo,
fuel gauge wire, take mine again,
most of the IC piping you could have as well.

however that is all once i get the car running and know its good then i will part the stuff out no problem. (taking the engine to put in a mk2, just want to know that i'm starting with good electronics, accesories, etc. engines being rebuild anyways)

that would be sweet...when do you plan on getting the car running?

well, thats the problem, i'm lazy. i get home and sit around and do nothing. in fact, i'm not working now, and i've been sitting around doing nothing for the better part of a week now. But when i DO get going, shit gets done fast.

i'm thinking i will pull an all nighter and head out there in the morning once its not too early to be loud, then i'll start diagnosing the issue. guy i bought it from said its no fuel, so i'm hoping its either a relay or the pump since either is a pretty simple fix.

If Glenn lets you down, I have an almost complete set of stock IC pipe, from the IC back to the 3000 pipe in the back of my car, and I'd love to get rid of it. I might be missing a hose clamp or two, since I wasn't particularly meticulous about keeping it all together for reinstall...

thing is im not even sure where the boost leak is coming from so i really need to borrow someones tester or make one myself...until then im not to sure which turbo parts im gonna need. :|
