The Pig is located in the Beddington Towne Centre "mall." It can be found on Centre St. and Beddington Blvd. Look for the Safeway. It's at the other end of the mall. There's tons of parking and the food is excellent.

Also, the "21 and over" thing doesn't come into effect until much later - and as long as you don't start any fights, they let you stay.



In conjunction with the MegaSquirt conference in town on Saturday, Cam (canadian_psyko) is going to be staying here for a couple days. Since my Saturday is kind of pooched where the conference itself is concerned, I was wondering:

Who's up for dinner/nachoes/beers/whatever at a pub (Jim and Tara and I were thinking Riverside on Northmount and 14th St NW) on Saturday? I'm thinking around 7:00 or 8:00 or so, so the MS festivities should have ceased by then. The only thing I'm worried about is that apparently, the dinner/drinking festivities in that crowd tend to go a little late. Personally, I'd rather hang out and BS with Supra guys, and I have a feeling Cam wouldn't object too much to meeting some more of the Alberta people.

Anyone else in? So far it's Jim, Tara, Cam, and myself. (Provided Cam doesn't have other plans.)

Again, from what I hear, the MS folks will be wrapping up the dyno at 5:30, and going for dinner around 6. I know this kind of cuts in a little bit, since I'm talking 7:00 or so, but again - I'd rather have a pint with the club I know, personally.

My only concern about going to Riverside is the lack of parking. It can be pretty cramped. However, I can't really think of an alternative, unless it's the Pig and Whistle on centre and ~80th in the Beddington mall.... but that's just because it's close to my house. And because the parking lot is HUGE. And their food is good.

Sorry NRogers, but the parking is just a little more convenient than Paddy's - lots of room to spread out!
