hey guys, I am the proud owner of two supras(1980,1981).
I happened across a link for ASC at Celicasupra.com. I hope to get some good info here, and hopefully join the meets/events once my '81 is restored.

You had better be Ugo on CS, and therefore own the abomination that was my old mk1.

the car on the left(silver on black) was my first car. it was in better condition when I got it, but the rust on it spread too quickly.
the car on the right I recently got, there is very little rust on it and I am going to restore it next year.

Hey hey! I am also in Edmonton and I also own two 1981 Supras. Plus a parts car which is tucked away somewhere down south. I have rented a garage for this winter and plan to do some work on them.

Two plus a parts car? I thought you just had the white 81 and the parts car.
Here's what I have:
-White 1981 standard
-Black/silver 1981 standard (turbo)
-White 1981 auto (parts)
Plus I use to own a white 1979 standard that caught fire while I was 'test driving' it. But I sold it...

That was a really cool car, it was fun to see on the dyno. Everyone was looking at the A/F ratio like "WTF?! It's adding fuel, but HOW?"

I hate that Black/Silver MKI with a passion.
...And I know how it was adding fuel ;)

Heh. I can imagine, after the work that you did on it...
And you know NOW, but it was quite the headscratcher at the time.
