August 20 Monthly Meet

Alright everyone,

It is hard to believe that we are in August now.

Lets have our next meet August 20 2005 @ 6:00 pm at Harawalek park? Same theme BBQ, frizbee. I think our meets for outdoors will be coming to a close. At the next meet we should discuss an indoor spot to meet for the winter spots.

For all the pyromaniacs in the club, there are alot of firepits at your disposal. :lol:

20th works, I think we should have it at the same place we had it last time though, its a nice spot. for anybody who wasn't there last time, its just off the road leading up to the big whitemud hill, off fox drive.

or the one other idea I had, is that we could have it the same day as the car show, the 28th. have the car show in the morning, we'll probably be hungry when its done, so we can cruise down to a BBQ pit some where and cook up some food.

I agree. That spot was a nice place.

Lets change the meeting place to that one.

To get there turn off of fox drive to go onto the road that will lead you to the old Keilor (sp) road. Keep following the road as it will wind and take you to an open parking lot right by an open spot by the river. Follow the road to the left and this will take you right beside the Whitemud Creek bridge. We will be located right beside the bridge.

Well unfortunately, i was planning on coming down that weekend but now i have decided to save my money and just wait out the week and a half for school to start as my frequent Edmonton trips seem to drain my bank account quite quickly. However i will soon be out there ready to go, ya know just in time for winter and when all the cars get parked.

hey dave, i see that you have checked the satellite maps on google...they got updated abotu 1 month ago ...they looked like shit back then haha..now look at the newly updated one that you have posted up where to meet for our august meet. good thinking on the satellite image
