Hi everyone,

I am looking at a TRD Supercharger for my next car. The car is a 1997 Toyota Avalon XLS. Can anyone tell me any specific information about the TRD Supercharger. All I had found was just what TRD had listed.

The information that I am considering is how much more fuel the supercharger will consume on the highway and in the city with normal driving.

Granted that when one adds a power gaining device such as a supercharger or Turbocharger fuel milage will decrease.

Has anyone had any problems with these superchargers?

I understand that the Avalon and the Camry share the same engine so things such as intakes should bolt right up with little to no modification.

Thank you in advance,

Mike Nikolai

ok I won't be a lot of help on your questions, but DO IT MIKE!!! will make quite the nice daily drivable sleeper, the Avalon is NOT a car people expect to have power..

I have one that was on a 3.4L tacoma . As long as you did not drive it hard fuel milage did not change . You should find out if they run lean while under boost as this is a problem with the truck engines .You have to run premium fuel with the one I have .It was 100% bolt on (4 hours work).

Avalon :(

The so-called Cressida re-placement. Front wheel drive, blah. Just kidding.

Holds the statistic for lowest kill rate among U.S. production vehicles... which means lots of conservitive granpa style drivers.

Supercharged Avaoln = perfect sleeper

Good luck if you do get one, I'd love to see it.
