Hi Everyone,

I was thinking what the club could use is a news letter that we can send to all out members, supporters and sponsors.

In the news letter we could include content on recent meets, upcoming meets, articles on what we have done for our rides, or "How To tips"

I was thinking we could have a monthly newsletter or quarterly news letter?

I am thinking to keep costs down, we could always submitt it via email, or we could have it posted on line?

What are your thoughts? Love the idea, Drop it like a sack of hammers, imporve on it? I value all imput and ideas.

sounds like a good idea, I think we should send out a monthly newsletter with the date and details of the meet(s), a member profile, tech tips, and news. I was already planning to add these features to the site on a regular basis, so each month when we send out a letter we can just choose the most important news, and best tips that have been added to the site each month.. just my thoughts so far

I can see the letter now.

"so this month blaa blaa's car broke, and blaa blaa turned up the boost blowing his headgasket, leaving us still at 50% operational after blaa fixed *insert part* and blaa bought a new car."

Well I got my tranny working but now my brakes suck ass.....
Andriy has his motor in but I do not know if it has been started yet...He is keeping really quiet on this...I think it is some sort of secret wepon he has installed.

Dave has new wheels on his Supie and he could put them on his 300 if he wanted too.

I have several go fast bits for sale and this weekend I will have a whole car to sell....very nice white 88. I have pics that will go up with a posting tomorow as I have the day off work.

I hope Mike has his new used turbo installed...if not I might be able to help if my schedule allows.

Sentara is hording Supras (he has 3 now? maybe only 2?) and is not telling us what is going on with them. Did you ever find out if the motor in the one from Priemier was a N/A or turbo?

I think we have only had 8 people show up for any meet at a time.

thats all I can remember for now.

Looks like I am nominated for writing the news letter. Ha ha ha.I will do it some time this weekend. I will post it online and send an email copy to everyone. Please ensure that you have sent your information to Earl as he updates the membership list. As for the Turbo, that is a confirmed no. I plan to to that too sometime this weekend. It is still sitting on a bench.

I think you nominated yourself man. I can do it and later remind me to show you how to do group emails from this site, as long a people put in a real email addy when they signed up they will get it. We can also have Dave post it on the home page if we want.

I think if we are going to do this it should be after a mid month meet when we are supposed to decide & create club activities, but I can do one now for the last while.

If anybody has stuff they want in the news letter PM me now.

Hey Earl, I stand corrected. I will do it this weekend. I can draft up a copy and send it to you for proof reading editing so you can add and delete.

As for the club members what content would you like to see in the news letter?

Cheers,

Mike Nikolai

The news letter idea sounds cool.

I'm down to one Supra.

That last guy never got back to me.

My daily driver got written off today.

The Supra from Premier, well the extra head/cams was from a NA, but the rest is turbo.

Your N/A is gone? It would seem like its hunting season for N/A's.
