View Full Version : FS: 86 Dodge Caravan TURBO!

I'm selling this on behalf of my mom. It's been sitting in her back-yard for 2 years now, it's time to get rid of it.

like the title says, 86 Dodge Caravan, turbo. Auto, white exterior, beige interior. Interior is in decent condion, if I recall, no rips or tears or fading of the seats at all. Some slight cracks in teh plastic trim in the back, this van was used by the red cross at one point in its life.

The body's not too bad. Last I remember, there wasn't much in the way of rust on it, but I haven't looked at it in a few years.

What's the catch?

The transmission is slipping for one. It's drivable, but it would be a good idea to replace/rebuilt it eventually.

There's a boost leak (AFIAK) somewhere. It sounds almost like a trumpet at high boost :)

It has problems starting. There's an issue with the fuel system. I believe it's electrical, but I never bothered to sort it out, as I'm never over there.

I'm not sure of the milage, but I can check. It's in the high 200ks somewhere.

Honestly, to her, the vehicle has served its purpose, and doesn't owe her anything. She just wants to get it out of there to free up a parking spot, so I put it up for a price that would sell.

Even if it's not running, for $100, I feel it's a good deal.

ha it's like a dream come true. turbo dodge caravan, someones got to buy this and give it like a real 70's paint job or a sweet flame job haha.

it doesn't run. Like I said, it has some fuel issue, and it's been sitting for a few years.

could it be like a fuse or something else easy to fix. Basically i was planning on graffiting it up and going camping in it or something so it doesn't need to run good just run.
