turbos and superchargers

ok i have an 89 supra 7m-ge and i was wondering about putting an after market turbo into it or maybe putting in a supercharger wut might be some of the differences or which one would be better/ have better advantages/ problems difficulties etc ...

ok i have only seen 1 picture of a supercharged 7M, it was even factory, but very very very ( i should say that more) rare. more rare than the series A turbocharged motor (500 made).

get a stock turbo from a 7m, manifold, injectors, and intercooler. it all goes in very easily and uses stock everything, your car should have the holes in the fenders and such for IC piping already too. Simplest way to go as it is very well documented on various sites such as Supraforums.com .

You are in Whitecourt?....A supracharged 7M is a chalange project...you have to have some skilles to do that. I have seen a one off motor that had the supercharger on it (Vortex) and it was done by a bunch of gear heads that build twin turbo V8's for fun.

Your best bet is to transfer a 7M-GTE into your car and build from there. That is provided you have a solid body. If it is all rusted & stuff forget it. It is not worth the time. You would be better to find a turbo model & go from there.

I have a GTE long block & IC piping I can sell ya. I think Trowa may still have a IC. Other members willl have the bits you need to do this.
