Project Car work begins

Well, the date is finally here. As of Jan 10, 2008 work on the '83 GTS will begin.

This is a informal offical invite for any and all interested people, persons or other Supra type individuals to drop by for a visit, check it out and if you hang around long enough, get put to work.

The first few days will be mostly designed to get the work space set up and the list of TO DO's in order.

If you are around between now and Jan 24th give a call on the cell phone for directions to where it is all going to happen.

I thought it was a Supra, not a GT-S?

Canadian dealers, some of them, thought it would be a great idea to slap a little, gay, aftermarket-looking "GTS" badge on the left side of pre-84 hatches.

As such, a lot of Canadian owners call their car a "Supra GTS"

Generally, this just means it is a Canadian Mk2.

Yes, there is a GTS Celica decal on the hatch of the project car, but hey, why not drop by and see for your self?

Would be great to see any and all who might be interested. Pictures to follow in future postings on this forum as work continues from now until Jan 28th ( and of course until the car is completed.)
