Sorry about the new thread but I wanted to make sure everyone saw this.

Bud park has no events scheduled for the long weekend, next street drags after the 22nd are on Aug. 12th. http://www.budpark.com/raceschedule.asp Since this is the Suprafest weekend, it probably won't work. When can we race as a club? If you're interested in a drag day, tell us what works best for you.

I will most likely try to go on the 22nd anyway, I'm OK with running solo if the club can't make it.

I actually got my mk2, so I'll definitely be out, I might even run it just for the hell of it. entirely stock.. I'll convince people that my car is slow, than come back out after I've done my 6m-gte swap and scare the crap out of them :twisted:

Frack! I scheduled a server migration that night. SOB! I will be here from 7 am till midnight.

Well its not like my car would run that day, I would have used up 1 hour per week running time just getting it there, then it would break.

the road in bud is all paved, not bad getting in, kinda bumpy just have to take it slow.

Alright! Looks like we'll have a turnout after all. Sorry about the work thing Earl, we'll try to do you proud.

I play soccer at 2:30PM, a quick shower and I'm on my way to the track by about 5:30 or so. Should be there before 6:30 anyway. If any guys arrive earlier, try to grab a helmet for me. I have to rent one and would hate to have to wait if they run out.

As for the car, recent issues have been cleared up. Seems that an intercooler connection lost its seal when the engine was tilted back for the clutch change. Tightened all of the clamps and no more sputtering. Fresh plugs, cap and rotor, and she rips once again!

i have bad news..lol..well not that anyone cares but i will show up to budpark to take pics and video, but i will not be competing my car in the drag races...cya all there.
