So if you happened to catch my ever running thread about my tranny/clutch issues you would know that I needed to order parts.
Because i was just a few blocks away dropping off my grandson I decided to drop into Kingsway Toyota before making the drive accross town to Sun Toyota. I talked to Joe Wong and told him about the supra club and Ron's offer of discounts...whitout blinking Joe said he will meet or beat Ron's discounts. No proof rewquired. This will make it a little easier for members on the north side.
Sweet! My parts will be in Tuesday and I got 20% off
Thats all for now.

not impressed with them at all...
Ordered a PVC Valve for my Avalon a few years ago. They told me it would be a little while to get in, may be a few weeks as "there was no stock in Canada or the states, it needs to come from Japan". I find this odd as the 1MZFE Engine is a common engine and this should be a common part. After waiting 3 weeks and nothing had arrived, I went to Sun Toyota and spoke with Ron. To my supprise (which I should not be suprised now, but I still am everytime I deal with him) he told me "oh yeah...the vancouver depot has a bundle, toronto has a bunch. When do you need it, is tomorrow fine?"
Done, sold.... never went back to Kingsway Toyota.
Ron is the parts God and can find you just about anything. 1st class fellow he is.

I've been into Red Deer Toyota a couple times now. First was to look for a fan shroud since my other one fell apart. Everything is apparently in Vancouver. The fan shroud was $250, I called down to Jay Marks Toyota in Houston Texas, they only wanted $60. Also was looking for that transmission mount. RD Toyota wanted 100+.... Jay Marks $50. Even with shipping and exchange its still cheaper to order out of the states.

Everyone knows you can get things cheaper out of the USA. This is news to people? LOL.
I can't come close to what they sell things for, so I don't even try. I'll do what I can, haha.

I was wondering what a set of front and rear MKIV calipers would go for here with our discounts? Or do you think its still better to order from somewhere in the US? I was thinking of upgrading mine to USDM spec.

I'll price everything and post it in my section. I did the upgrade on my brother's JZA80 earlier this year.
