Hey, my name's Ryan. I've been a member since 2005 when i first started helping a co-worker restore a red 1984 Celica Supra MKII automatic that sat in his backyard for 2 years before we found it after mowing his lawn. >_< He then sold that car to me as my first car but I never got a chance to make it out to any of the meets before it was repo'ed up on me when some unexpected expenses came up and i was unable to pay for the car about 1 year ago.
well guys, im back
my last car (a 1993 Mazda 626 2.0L 5spd) was just written off and i just collected the insurance money
and so this weekend i fully intend on making my way down to Calgary for,
maybe you guessed it:
another red 1984 Supra MKII, but this one's a 5spd
i am going nuts here in anticipation
hoping to finally get to meet some of you guys :D

Welcome back Ryan. Good to have old members return. If your interested I do have a nice MKIII for sale here in Edmonton http://supraclub.ca/forums/showthread.php?t=1729. Give me a call and you can come and take a look at it. Anyway, good luck with whatever you decide and welcome back!

I wonder if that could be my old car. It was super red with a hardtop and a white hatch decal.

It's really easy to replace the flare. If you can find another red one.
Actually Supra Soul might have one.

I'm not sure how a lot of that stuff happened, the car was extremely neglected when I got it. It sat in a field for five years with a blown engine. I have a pile of pictures for you.

heh... blown engine indeed -_-
it ran for a little while >_>
well he says it sat in his driveway for 8 months without being run so its been neglected still
did the power windows, heater/blower motor, gauges work for you when you had it?
the ONLY gauge that works for me is the speedo, im hoping its a fuse O.o;;
i got your emails with pics, much appreciated :)

Sounds like a fuse to me. The speedo is mechanical, while the rest are electrical.
