Greetings Members,

The '83 project car is finally sitting here in my garage in Edmonton. The next step is to arrange for a time when all interested persons, skilled, curious and otherwise, might attend a session of dissassembly.

I am thinking that depending on how many bodies can be gathered, the whole process would take one or two days...and of course the filming would take place at the same time.

Post your thoughts on a time and date when we can gather skills, people and tools to tear apart this classic in need of some willing hands.

Hello one and all,

The purpose of this project is to allow members to learn about the autos they love to drive, so I think we should all propose dates that might work for us and then schedule a time.

Last night I dis-assembled the ignition switch and installed the one provided at the last meeting. I applied power and the engine turns over!! So the motor is not ceased, what a relief.

Pictures to follow soon.

Please post replies on this thread as to a set of two or three evenings that would work for you.(this is an invite to all interested members and otherwise curious persons who don't mind a little grease on their hands.)

I am thinking January might be best as a month to begin the tear down. Kind of a blah month anyway. The garage is heated and the basic tools are there. All we need is bodies.

Let me know.

I should be able to do that as long as my work doesn't interfere.
