So this could be the big weekend....i got all the papers worked out and my dad is gunna call the guy and negotiate since i would probably offer the guy more than what he wants just so that i could buy it. But i might be driving my new supra home this weekend. Allright.

It was hard though cause i coun't really giv'er cause i didn't even have plates on the back cause all i had was a transit permit but she goes in for an inspection tomorrow so lets keep our fingers crossed.

hey congrats on the new car! would you mind posting how the process works for getting a transit permit? I'm considering going to BC to get a mkII because I'm having a hell of a time finding what I want here.

well for me all i had to do was get a binder of insurance from BC which was just VIN number and driver id and make model and year. Then when i got to alberta i had to go to the guy and get a bill of sale and then just go to a registry place and ask for a transit permit and poof there we go it cost me about 60 bucks to move here. Just for the permits and stuff. SHe goes in for inspection tomorrow and if all goes well i will be on the road right after that.

Dave, just throw your plates on, I am fairly sure there is a grace period from time of sale.

k Bad news the supra failed the inspection she is gunna need some front brake pads and rotors and a ball joint for one of the rear wheels, so not too bad just means i can't drive till probably next week, and that hurts more i can't even just sit in it anymore haha.

Yea so the mechanics wanted $922.00 to fix one ball joint and the front brake pads and rotors.....i don't think so. Dam con artists so its back at home now and my uncle has ordered me some parts so i am gunna end up fixing it myself. Just piss me right off if this were anywhere else it would have been done a couple days ago but it took the bastards 4 days to do an hour inspection. AHHHHHHH rage.
