So there I am, driving home from Airdrie at one in the morning on Saturday night, minding my own business, and suddenly I'm wondering why the hell I can't see.

I get home, and realize that neither of my headlights are on. Shit.

The driving lights in the fogs still work. The fogs do not, but I think this is unrelated. The DLs seem to run on the tail relay. Smart move.

None of my fuses in the engine bay are blown. Damn.

Changed the headlamps themselves, no luck. Could just be bad bulbs all around. Anyone got some spares for me to try?

The headlight relay gets hot even still. This makes me wonder if it's the bulbs, or a short, or what.

When you flip the highbeams on, the light does not come on in the cluster for it. I know this light works, it was working while my heads were still good.

Any ideas? Any parts? I am so confused and sick of not being able to drive at night.

I'm planning to catch a ride down Sunday for the fun run, I can bring the pair of headlights from my parts car down. (They're just cheap sealed beams, but at least one of the 4 lamps ought to work...)

Personally though, I'd be breaking out the voltmeter and seeing if you have grounds on the pigtails, then checking for +12V at the sockets.

Car fried the main headlight relay. Don't worry about the replacement bulbs, Dan. Thanks, though!
