well, its a pod kind of day i guess, this is another in-progress post.
i was recently given some nice 5.25" separate speakers, with the detached tweeters.
after spending hours obsessing over where to put them, i decided the kick panels would be the best bet.
of course, we all know that supras arent huge vehicles, so, how to mount them.
after a quick trip to home depot (love that place, so many car parts, if you have an imagination) i got a 4" pvc pipe coupler.
since its meant for coupling pvc, which is thick, the overall inside diameter is just perfect for my speakers.
ive determined that i need to cut it at an angle, which is difficult, since its large and round.
a normal mitre box is FAR too small, and even the "large" mitre saws are too small, so i havent figured out the best option yet, beyond using a belt sander to remove the material.
once i get past this step, ill finish the writeup and provide details.
if anyones got any ideas, or has a large (5"x5" inside) mitre box, feel free to post them up. :)
