I havent been able to actually take advantage of this deal yet, but ive been checking out the details.

the nittygritty:
NASA costs $40 us$ a year, no extra cost for canadian members, for this, you get a subscription to Grassroots Motorsports (if you havent read it, check it out) and several other membership benefits/discounts.

Konig will want you to put four stickers on your car... apparently they arent bad looking, but it is something to consider... i will be mounting some in the hatch window, and possibly some with magnetic backing for when im at the track.

shipping should be in the $40-80 dollar range, from what ive seen, and im still researching duty rates (if anyone has details, please share, revenue canadas site isnt real easy to navigate)

if ive forgotten anything, dont hesitate to ask.
this isnt a club special or anything like that, just a deal i dug up.

So you can get 4 17" rims...NO tires/rubber for roughly 515 CAD???...any wheels that i desire on their website...so if that is true that is worth it and I don’t have 1 problem on putting 4 stickers on my car for that cheap to pay for rims...I hope this is still going on until the end of July cause I get paid at the end of July/ beginning of august!!!....dammm..lol...lets hope what I just said is true, other wise anyone can point me in the right direction.

personally i would go with these ones for my mk2 orange supra, yay.

hey glenn or barry, or whoever knows...what is the widest tire/rubber size i can have in the supra mk2's without lowering the suspension; keeping it stock? perferablly the widest in the back/rear?i was thinking 235/45/17 would be ok???also in the front also???same size?

they would look like ass and be sunk into the fenders too much. would also have clearance issues with your brake calipers. so unless you like having 20mm of adapters to fit them.......
245's will fit stock rims lowered and non-lowered.
i believe 275's will fit with wide enough rims but only ones offered that fit need 5-10mm spacers. iirc.
these cars, imo, are made for lip, mine have a nice lip and everyone loves em, except some would want a different color, minor detail though.
if you have any questions about mk2's go to CelicaSupra.com and use the search button, it has all been covered before many times.

According to my math Mike, you 93 up on Kris. Hp that is, lol.

i believed you for the 1st 2 sec haha before i continued to read...i though that u knew about that deal thing and said that it would be over for me tommorow

i really want to do this i guess....well of course when i get money at the end of the month..and glenn about that part that you said it would look like sheit with the tires under the fenders..no way man that is just the way i want it to look..thats tight..lol

Kris... i HIGHLY doubt those wheels will fit.
most of the 17s konig makes have high offsets, in the 35-40 range.
mkIIs need about 0-20 for a P type (flares) and about 5-28 for an L type (no flares, like mine)

basically... go on www.celicasupra.com check out the FAQ for details on what size of tires fit.
then call or email Konig and ask them what they have that fits the car.

im not 100% sure, but im pretty sure that for a mkII, the only choices are Imagines in 17" and rewind in 15"
lucky for me, those are the two wheels i want.

dammet all the rims there are all 5 bolt/lug nut rims. that means i will have to convert them ..fcuk...for me the only ones i can get are ...KONIG APPEAL, KONIG IMAGINE, KONIG NOROAD..stupid supras and there 20mm max offset..lol.

convert them? :wtf:

well theres not a ton of selection for 4 bolt, but either of the imagines or the rewinds would fit, I'm seriously thinking about the rewinds, they'd look awesome on a mkII and you just can't beat ~13lb wheels for that kind of pricing.

i have a question wut if you want 18's and not 17's is the deal only for those sizes or wut ??

wow, the size selection is terrible! does koenig make any wider than a 7" in a 17" rim? Some of the designs are nice, but I coudn't justify buying upgraded rims any narrower than 9.5" rear and 9" front.

koenig mostly makes style wheels.

there are a few that are geared towards the autocross/roadrace guys and are VERY light wheels, excellent for track duty, but most of those folks dont use anything bigger than a 16x7 for weight reasons.

soooo...that kinda answers your question, although im told the deal ended already.
