I just met the guy who owns http://www.canadiancobra.com/index.htm
Home made cobra....hummmmm
Sexy I tell you. He also owns Freds Heads & repairs. Deals mostly with high power V8's but would probably do killer work on our heads. He started up 20 years ago.

$25,000 just to get it to the point to drop in a crate motor (add $5,000) and it has stock wheels & shit... and you have to make it yourself...although it would be easier than a MKiii to keep running.
and for $60,000 you could build one that would rip the paint off most cars

This thread could be locked down soon!
My parents neighbour built one in his garage a few years back. It took him a while to build, but it looked just like the one on the main page of the site!

theyre pretty, but hella expensive as you know.
if i was going to spend 30-60k on a car, id look at a locost 7 with a wicked cosworth engine, or a built bike engine.
