will a 42mm offset fit my cressida? thanks for the help

i doubt it. 42mm is a fwd offset.
the supra is 8 and its rims fit your car.


ok after looking on http://www.thermactor.com/forum/ they say the stock offset is around 20mm. so 42 is almost guarenteed to run into your suspension. you can use spacers but it is not the recommended way to make a rim fit.

anything over about 5mm worth of spacers (which need longer lug nuts, at about $6 bucks a piece) and you need adaptors, which are about $200 and up.

for wheels, check out ROH, BSA, Centerline, Konig (rewinds).... just a couple to get you started
basically, IIRC you can go from about 5 offset up to 27ish.
the narrower the wheel, the more offset you can run, but it becomes self defeating.

imo, id look at konig rewinds in a 15x7.... ill post a great deal for these, $55 usd each.

stock offset is 38 on the supra.....and i have either 40 or 38 offset rims on my car right now....

mk2 supra and cressida, not mk3. all 4 bolts.

i read that with higher offset on the cressida you will need spacers, same with stock offset and wider rims.
