Next meet?

So...when are we going to have the next meet? it seems like we have a bunch new ppl, maybe it's time to have another one so everyone can meet...

normally we set it up for the middle of the month on a weekend so that the most people can attend. so maybe the 15th,16th or 17th of july.

I will not be around for the meeting on the 15,16 or 17. I will be out in Winnipeg. I will be around after July 18 2005. But you guys can go ahead and meet with out me. I agree, a run at Bud Park would be neat and fun, and another cruise to Harawlak or BBQ would be good too! I agree, it would be great to meet the new members.

Hey Guys!

Well, why don't we go to DTP as a group on July 9th because I imagine most of us will be going anyhow. That should satiate our appetite for Supra groupin' for a couple of weeks, and then we can hit the track on the 23rd when Mike is back. If you guys don't want to do that, I will most likely only be able to make it on the 16th, as I am up for a job that will only see me in town on Saturdays.

Street legals is only on fridays which is why Anthony mentioned the 22nd. I'm up for either one of these days for a meet, whether or not I'm going to have a drivable car by then is debatable, but somehow I'll be out.

spent a lotta time there with the bike tho, lol.

Mark me down too for never racing at Bud Park. I have always wanted to race there but usually something breaks down and does not allow me to race there. I have spectated there before! Lots of fun!

Maybe I'll have the Iced Tea delivered to the next meet! ha ha ha. As for the car, the plan was to take it to Winnipeg, but it looks like now it may be sitting turboless while I am there visiting family.

DTP would be fun to go to as a group. I will miss that one too as I am leaving on the 9th. Driving out to Winnipeg. Call me nuts but I love the drive. You guys need to take lots of pics!

Well, depending on when this comes out, paint me there.

I'll be out of town for the first couple of weeks in July. I'll be back the weekend of the 16th and 17th, but I'm not sure when.

I've got a slow NA, so a drag race may not be the thing for me, but as long as you are willing to refrain from laughter, I'd be willing to run it down the strip. (I mught have to pull out a couple hundred lbs of stuff from the car, though. It's be nice to have a sub 20 second run. :)

Great avitar. If you want to run great if not just show for the others. The times that I have been out there the clubs usually have 2 guys running and the rest come to support. It's all good.

hey just go for it, I went out there with my stock (besides air intake) mkIII, exhaust leak and all. ran a 16.6 as my best time, but I still had a lot of fun..

I'm not sure which Friday works for me yet, but I like the idea of waiting til the 22nd or even the 29th for Street Legals.

I don't see why we can't do a meet some evening at the middle of the month as well. Just a little gathering, shoot the breeze a little, and then a cruise would be very cool. I've yet to take part in a Supra procession around town, I think it needs to be done.

We should go for a cruise as a pack before or after DTP. Late at night would be pretty cool so I could see my silverstars for the first time since installing them two years ago. My 2 cents anyhow. Going as a pack would be fun.

Geez, no pressure!

Just received my sched for the Masters games, I will be free to run on the 22nd, maybe just a little late. Game time is 2:30 PM on the north side, so I would arrive at Bud Park around 6ish.

Unless I hear otherwise, I'll consider this a set date and plan acccordingly. I hope we get good representation out for the club, and that some of you other guys run your cars as well! Meeting the next day at Hawrelak will give us a chance to brag about victory, cry over defeat, or plan our revenge, depending how the evening goes!

We should set a meeting time and place for the "After-DTP" cruise too. There will be a lot of other groups out that evening, I would think, it'd be cool to be a part of it. If the guys displaying their cars at the show know when they'll be out of the building, maybe they should arrange a time and place.
